Why should YOU buy a Wristband?

When you buy a wristband, you're not only supporting Archie, but also raising money to help better the lives of people in need. David is a supporter of the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society and we plan to use the money raised, to donate to this organization.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, unpredictable disease that affects the brain, optic nerves, and spinal cord. The disease is caused by inflammation and scarring of the myelin tissue in the brain and spinal cord and can cause varying levels of neurological impairment, depending on the location and extent of scarring. This scarring impairs the ability of nerve cells to transmit signals which causes unpredictable symptoms ranging from numbness and tingliness to blindness and paralysis. These losses may be temporary or permanent.   The most common symptoms of the disease are fatigue, weakness, balance problems, vertigo, and vision loss.

The disease is prevalent in the US, affecting over 400,000 people in the US today and every week about 200 people are diagnosed. 
As of now, a cure for this disease has yet to be discovered. If we are able to get enough support, we would love to be able to help the MS Society in their goal of making this disease history.
